Work History
- Director of Department of Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital & Sports Injury Center, Jaipur | Since 2012 - till today As a sports medicine specialized Healthcare provider, my focus is to strike the ethical and operational balance between health management and optimizing performance of the sports persons.
- Most of my patients (on day-to-day OPD basis) include the sports persons from various entities such as Cricket, Athletics, Karate, Marathon Runner, Wrestling, Boxing, Badminton, Kabaddi, Tennis, Squash & Football for their curative as well as preventive rehabilitation and management. I am privileged to be associated with Rajasthan Cricket Association as a Honorary Sports Medicine Consultant to supervise, guide and monitor the performances of Cricket Players mainly for IPL and Ranji trophy.
- I am associated with Rajasthan Atheletic Association as a Honorary Sports Medicine Consultant for creating awareness regarding the prevention and providing treatment to the various sports injuries.
- I am also Honorary Sports Medicine Consultant to Rajasthan Karate Association.
- I am associated with Jaipur Runners Club as Honorary Sports Medicine Consultant for extending my services to the best of my abilities to the marathon runners.
- I closely associated with Rajasthan Police Sports Team for treating the sports players. I am actively associated with schools, colleges for their sports activities and sports injury management (both preventive as well as curative aspect). As a Sports Medicine Specialist, I actively participate and deliver the sports injury management talks in various conferences and events to create the awareness and encourage prevention than cure.
- My prime motive in the entire process of treatment is to provide the 360 degree rehabilitation from Injury Resolution to Performance Resumption.
- I routinely performed surgical operations for sports player like ACL/ PCL reconstruction by arthroscopy, shoulder cuff repair and havecomprehensive postoperative rehab protocol for their earliest recovery.
- I conduct yearly international sports & exercise medicine conference (ICSEM) and seminars for promoting the up gradation and exchange of ideas and practical experiences with a vision to return the patients into pre-injury function.
- I regularly conduct on-site trainings for sports players and sports enthusiasts for injury prevention to injury management.
